So parasailing was so much fun. No idea why my friends and I prefer chilling inside cars, when most of them are claustrophobic. I’m not, though. Maybe just a little.
Even though it was just for about 10 minutes that my friend and I were on the air, it was completely worth it. Check out the view from above:
My friend, her name is Yellow, she’s not literally yellow, I don’t know why we call her that. I guess she likes the colour yellow so much. So right before we took off, we were supposed to run and then jump. We did neither. We just pulled our feet up waiting to fly.
So lochal of us.
The guy behind us was carrying our weight and I think he had a sore back after we landed. He later on said that we are heavy girls.
While on air, I tried taking pictures of Yellow, I’m telling her to “Look up!†and she’s like “Maroom maroomâ€, in Arabic, that’s a frustrated way of saying “I can’tâ€. So all I got was her feet:
It’s still a nice picture though.
As we landed we were also supposed to run. We didn’t. We put our feet on the ground and because we didn’t run, we fell over, face first, on top of one another. Good times.
Now I know why they call it para-sailing. Get it? Parasite? Sailing? A sailing parasite? Alright then.
Highly recommended. Y'all should go for it. It’s in Khorfakkan and they usually open it in weekends. They’re too busy for us in weekdays.
