Grand Theft Trucks.

Accidents happen, but does it happen three times in a month? I don’t think so. But it did happen to me, so I suppose I’m special of some sort.

This summer was not the same. I didn’t get to swim with dolphins so I’m pretty disappointed about that. But I did do something else - I went to the mountains with Mado and we found a big truck. Do you have any idea how scary it is to ride one of those? Or even get on them? Trucks are so high you’re required to either be a really tall person or you would need a ladder to get up there. Mado and I managed without the ladder, by jumping on top of one another of course.

Here’s a picture of the crime scene. Mado here was looking for clues on how to turn on the engine.

What we didn’t realize is that the keys were in the ignition. But anyway.

Just before we found the truck, Mado suggested that we take a look at the Al Hail castle, which pretty much was the worst decision ever. We were there at noon - the hottest hour of the day, and when we arrived the castle keeper came running towards us and asked us if we wanted a tour of the castle. We said yes, and then he said â€œOk but I’m making rice.” - And that was the end of the conversation. I think we interrupted his cooking.

On one of the mini castles we saw the strangest staircase, consisting of only 4 steps, taking you to the second floor. I wonder how people went up to the upper floor without having to pray to God not to fall over. I mean seriously, it must’ve been a nightmare going down.

Just before the truck craziness I visited the Dead Sea for the first time, and that’s a really spooky place to be. The sea has no waves, no fishes, and once you put your feet in the water you feel like the soil is going to pull you in and take away all your special powers, like swimming, for instance.

It was an interesting experience, and because I couldn’t dive in the water, I ended up picking stones from the shore. So if anyone wants some healing stones, you know where to find them.

Nevertheless, I feel like it was a worthwhile summer with plenty of odd occurrences. And about the 3 accidents I’ve had in one month, it was nothing, really. I’m alright, no need to panic. How has your summer been? Hopefully it wasn’t about trespassing.

Send me your stories at @Sindiya23 - I will read your msgs when I get a wifi signal, which is probably going to be at Magic Flakes Cafe.

Until next time, Fajrawis.
