With locals, there is no such thing as fixed price.
Here’s us, trying to lower 22k gold earrings from ~4,000 dhs to ~1,000 dhs. We managed to lower the price down to 1,400 dhs. So if anyone needs a bargaining expert, you know which blog to look in.

Areen seems to be enjoying the earrings, I overheard her mumbling under her breath that she would walk away with it without anyone noticing.
So anyway, we ended up not buying the earrings. Because we had other important stuff to do than bargain some more. We spent an hour already - do you have any idea how tiring it is to repeat the same digits to the salesman as a way of brainwashing him that the price should actually be that low?
Damn.
