Did you ever have this great idea that tops all the other ideas in the world, and thought “how come nobody thought of that yet?!†Well, chances are it has already been tried and tested before, and it failed miserably. So I’m not going to cheer you on it, I’m going to tell you to stop processing that idea, and think of something more mediocre. Unless your idea is having a cotton candy business, don’t stop there. I love it when fishermen go fishing for fish.
I remember going to fishing shops with my brothers when I was younger. I always used to look for those neon sticks, where you squish the middle and then magic happens when the dull white stick turns into bright green like a firetruck at night. I need to get one of these.
