Let’s Celebrate.

Let’s Celebrate.

So like most people around here, I’d rather drive than walk to a place that is less than 5 feet away. That is why you see tire tracks on the beach rather than real people walking. And if we incase see a real person walking on the beach, we know that that person is not from around here. But the weather is fantastic nowadays, so I took a leap of faith… I got out of my car, and walked by foot.

I’ve always wanted to fly a kite on the beach, but I never got the chance to because I was too busy looking for restaurants around Fujairah that serve Sushi dishes, didn’t find any, incase you were wondering. Now that my foot is standing on moist sand, I wanted to fly a kite for the very first time and I wanted to fly it with style. The first couple of attempts were unsuccessful, but I blame the winds that came from the Philippines. After a few more tries, I made it (of course, with Florence, my nanny stabilizing the kite up high and me holding on to the rope afterwards). It was so pretty. Take a look:

Happy National Day! It was a pretty intense celebration, there were more 3 year old kids hanging outside car windows this year. But they all look super cute with their tiny traditional dresses and kandooras. I also saw quite a lot of ladies showing off which one of them have got the biggest gamboo3a. Classic.

But really, December is my favourite month because of three things: UAE’s National Day on the 2nd, Christmas break starting from the 24th, and my birthday on the 22nd! So December is just full of holidays, and I am trying to make my birthday a holiday, you can sign a petition with me – if you know me, we celebrate together! If you don’t know me, well you get a day off.

If you want the petition link you can send me a tweet at @Sindiya23, let us unite, me and you, in making a world full of holidays. Next petition should be: a 4 hour lunch break.

Until next time,

Ciao.
